Can you help us ensure that our capital works programme is effectively delivered on time and within budget?
We’re looking for 2 Capital Works Surveyor(s) who can deliver and manage major capital works contracts in line with contract specifications, achieve agreed performance standards and targets and contribute towards high levels of resident satisfaction.
What we’re looking for:
A relevant qualification and/or significant management experience in delivering capital investment projects
Ideally experience of working in partnership or for Social Housing Provider, with experience of managing works
Experience of managing JCT / NEC works contracts.
Demonstrable experience in developing capital works’ specifications to be used in the procurement of works.
Good understanding and experience of leasehold charging consultation, (Section 20) requirements for qualifying works.
Experience of managing building consultants engaged to work on capital investment projects.
Experience of monitoring budgets and managing contractors
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and car are required for mobile working. Please note there will be some evening and occasional weekend working required.
