Introduction
The Office of the Executive, headed by the Clerk of the House and the Director General (Operations), exists to support the executive and drive forward strategic initiatives across the organisation. The office contains key executive functions, including the private offices of the Clerk and the Director General (Operations), Communications Office, Corporate Resilience Team, General Election Planning team and the Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) team.
The Role
The Senior Diversity and Inclusion Manager is responsible for providing strategic advice and operational support to meet corporate goals, including delivery of our Inclusion and Diversity Strategy. You will have responsibility for leading and developing our race-specific work but will be working across all diversity characteristics.
Reporting to the Director of Inclusion and Diversity, you will apply your senior-level I&D practitioner knowledge and experience to developprojects and programmes, including learning and development interventions, for multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
You will have experience of using the Equality Act 2010 in your work and utilising and embedding good practice models in inclusion and diversity, with a focus on race and ethnicity. You will have excellent customer service skills, building effective relationships while delivering projects or programmes. You will provide support to our Workplace Equality Networks (WENs) and work collaboratively with the Inclusion and Diversity team in the House of Lords.
