Professional Standards Authority

About the Professional Standards Authority We are the oversight body for 10 statutory regulators of professionals working in the Health and Social Care sector. We promote the health, safety and well-being of patients, service users and the public by raising standards of regulation and registration of people working in health and care. We are a small, independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament.
