This is an exciting opportunity to provide support and development to the newly formed Bucks LCU in the specialisation of diversity and community relations. Duties will include monitoring, assessing and reporting on community tension and developing initiatives and strong contacts by working within numerous communities to promote community cohesion.


You will have relevant and recent knowledge or experience of working with Diversity issues, the ability to manage a complex workload and maintain confidentiality at all times. IT skills are essential together with a good standard of education. Knowledge and experience of working with cases in relation to hate crime is desirable along with experience of policy writing.


Please note that whilst this role is based in Wycombe, you will be covering the County of Buckinghamshire, and providing support forcewide.


You must have the capability to travel to different locations across the Force. Due to the requirement to work flexibly unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working, public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason, a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
