Salary: Grade 5 £30,208 - £33,204 per annum (Please note successful candidates will commence on £30,208 per annum)
Location: City Campus & Riverside Campus
The successful candidate will work with the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Manager to support the leadership and co-ordination for the College’s ED&I initiatives and operations. You will provide advice and support to managers, colleagues and students on topics relating to ED&I, including related legislation, statutory duties, EHRC guidance, codes of practice and best practice within the sector.
In particular, you will engage with diverse student and staff groups, to encourage mainstreaming of the ED&I agenda, and report findings from surveys and other research. In doing so you will analyse and present results to demonstrate progress in achieving our equality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have an HND/Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience. You will also have an excellent understanding and experience of advancing the ED&I function, ideally within a public sector organisation.
You will have a good understanding of ED&I-related practice and legislation. You will possess excellent organisational skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities. It is desirable to have experience of developing and implementing systems and procedures. ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
