Medical Laboratory Assistant

The successful applicant will become part of the team responsible for the the preparation of samples ready for analysis in the Chemistry Department. You will support the Technical and Clinical staff in both Scientific and Administration tasks.

Receipt of all samples for Clinical Chemistry

Receipt and dispatch of Research and Development samples

Sample preparation for analytical platforms.

Data entry for all samples

Sending samples onto specialist laboratories

Receipt of deliveries and forward movement to the correct department.

Welcoming of visitor for all Pathology areas

Clerical and Administration duties

Collection of samples from Clinical areas

Basic Analyser maintenance

Result entry and checking.
