STATION GRADE 'B' CUSTOMER SERVICE (PART-TIME)

Provide customers with information and assistance. Maintenance/ cleaning of station environment including platforms, waiting areas and toilets, ensuring that the stations conform to the Service Quality Incentive Regime requirements.
An enthusiastic individual with excellent communication/interpersonal and customer service skills. An effective team player who can also demonstrate individual initiative. Should have a flexible approach to work. Should be able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm. Must be punctual and have basic numeracy skills. Ideally you will have customer service experience.
The post works 27 hours per week. 3 x 9 hour shifts. Shift pattern involves working alternate days from 0915 - 1815 hours and 0915 - 1915 hours on alternate Sundays.
Hours of work: 35-hour week. Reference Salary: £31,431 per annum. Training salary £21,193 per annum.

Selection process: Short-listed candidates will be invited to online assessment stage and if successfl be asked to attend an interview. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical questionnaire. Appointees must provide a basic disclosure Scotland check and at least 2 satisfactory references and complete a six-month probation period.
Training: Training initially involves a 2-day Induction training programme
