Voice and Participation Service - Empowering Young Voices

Join us for a key role offering immediate support to children in legal processes, coupled with long-term mentorship for personal growth and service enhancement!

We are dedicated to elevating the voices of children, young people, and families to shape services directly affecting their lives. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference, grow professionally and engage in diverse responsibilities for a dynamic work experience.

As a Voice and Participation Support Worker, you'll offer vital assistance to children in custody or attending court, serving as their initial contact. You'll guide them through processes, monitor treatment, and take on a mentoring role for a case load of children and young people. Actively seeking feedback, you'll collaborate to co-produce effective services.

We are looking for a flexible candidate with availability beyond regular hours. Ideal qualifications include at least an HNC level or equivalent experience, along with credentials in child development, counselling, youth justice, or a related field. Essential attributes include experience in mentoring youth, up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, and awareness of Data Protection and confidentiality management.
