Permanent, Full Time

42.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, half hour lunch

Morgan Sindall Property Services is recruiting an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join our Westminster team, carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across social housing properties.

Working within occupied and void homes, you'll take pride in delivering quality repairs and improvements that have a genuine impact on residents and local communities.

Whether you're completing joinery repairs, fitting kitchens, carrying out bathroom upgrades or tackling a variety of maintenance tasks, you'll be trusted to work independently and deliver a high standard of workmanship every day.

What You'll Be Doing

· Carrying out responsive and planned maintenance works

· Completing carpentry and joinery repairs

· Kitchen and bathroom fitting

· Basic tiling and associated maintenance works

· Working across occupied and void properties

· Using a handheld device to manage and complete jobs

· Delivering a professional, customer-focused service

· Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

You'll be supported by an experienced team while enjoying the autonomy to manage your workload and approach each job with pride and professionalism.

Please note that this role includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota. There is no regular weekend working requirement.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys delivering quality work and taking ownership of their jobs.

You will have:

· NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry / Joinery or equivalent qualification

· Previous experience working as a Carpenter or Joiner within repairs, maintenance or construction

· A full UK Driving Licence

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

· A commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Desirable

· CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
