Committee Member (Asset, Investment and Development Committee)
£3,676 per annum | Gloucestershire | Hybrid/Virtual Meetings
Do you have expertise in asset management, development, sustainability or building safety? Are you passionate about making a difference to communities through good-quality, affordable housing?
At Two Rivers Housing, we are looking for a new Committee Member to join our Asset, Investment and Development Committee and help shape the future of our homes, communities and services.
About Us
We are a community-based housing provider with deep roots in the Forest of Dean, owning and managing around 4,700 homes across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Our purpose is simple: to ensure everyone has access to a warm, safe and affordable home. With a turnover of approximately £30 million and recently achieving the highest governance, financial viability and consumer standards ratings (G1/V1/C1), this is an exciting time to join our organisation.
Working #Twogether with tenants, partners and communities, we’re focused on delivering great services, well-maintained homes and creating neighbourhoods where people love to live.
As a Charitable Community Benefit Society, we don’t have shareholders. This means any surplus is reinvested into our homes and services for the benefit of our tenants and communities.
We’re proud to serve the communities we work in and understand the difference a good quality, affordable home can make to someone’s life.
About the Role
As a member of our Asset, Investment and Development Committee, you will provide oversight, scrutiny and constructive challenge to support effective decision-making and delivery of our strategic objectives.
Working alongside fellow committee members, board members and executive colleagues, you will help ensure that our investment, development and asset management activities are delivered efficiently, effectively and in the best interests of our customers and communities.
We Are Particularly Interested in Candidates with Experience in:
Asset management and responsive repairs

Experience gained in social housing is welcome but not essential. We are keen to hear from individuals with transferable expertise from the public, private or voluntary sectors.
