A little about us
We’re Bray Leino, an award-winning creative communications Agency in a surprisingly beautiful place, powered by the creativenergy of 140 diversely talented experts. Lots of the brands we work with are household names.
Our Creative Department is the heartbeat of the business. Now, we have a rare opportunity for an apprentice copywriter to become part of the team, learn the craft and add their creativenergy to ours.
The apprenticeship…
The course covers topics like Content Planning, Content Development, Content Creation and Evaluation and Industry Awareness, equipping you with a wide range of creative writing and editing skills,
You’ll spend 20% of your working week on the apprenticeship, and we’ll support you all the way. 2 days a week, we’ll need you to work in our offices in Filleigh.
What you’ll learn to do
Compelling, clear, enticing, persuasive, startling, emotive, stick-in-your-ear words are how we help our clients excite their customers about the things they sell, from pasta and cider to medicines and truck engines. The words our copywriters write inhabit all kinds of communications channels: sales presentations, websites, social media, TV ads...
As our copywriting apprentice, we’ll help you learn the particular skills of the copywriter while we draw out your natural writing flair and the creativenergy we’re sure that’s in you, bursting to get out.
Here’s what we’ll help you to be great at
Here’s who were looking for
First and foremost, someone with a passion for writing, a fascination with words and a natural fussiness for the way things are expressed. Maybe you write for fun, stories, songs, posts, whatever. You never stop wondering if that thing you just wrote could be written even better.
You’ll be happy working in a team and OK with deadlines and a bit of pressure sometimes. And we hope you’re the sort of person who likes to talk about ads, with a natural curiosity for the world of advertising and marketing.
The skills and experience you need
We’re not looking for specific skills, and our apprentice could come from education or from any working background. Some evidence of your writing chops and qualifications in English would be a good start. You’ll need to meet the entry standards for the apprenticeship qualification.
In return: an amazing career opportunity
Our creative department is buzzy and energetic. Talented copywriters are highly valued members of our creative team, Careerwise, the sky’s the limit.
