Cover Supervisor - Full Time Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide essential support and will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons ensuring that learning continues in the absence of the teacher. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate students, and maintain a positive learning environment.

The successful candidates must be able to motivate students to succeed and provide a well-structured and tailored learning environment with a patient and supportive approach who processes the ability to handle challenging behaviours professionally.

Here’s the standard bit: Working collaboratively with the English and Maths department, the post holders will devise schemes of work and identify groups of students who require additional support. You will provide targeted intervention sessions and also work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups in order to help raise attainment and understanding within English.

What you’ll need: - We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and a highly motivated individual, with a relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience coupled with a thorough knowledge intervention as detailed in the specification. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
