Salary: £25,674 per annum
Location: Bolton
Hours: 37.5 per week including days, evenings and weekends

We have an exciting opportunity for two Domestic Supervisors to join our team on a Permanent basis. This position is well-suited to an organised and driven person who is looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting.
Job Role:
Responsible for supervision of domestic services ensuring high standards of cleanliness and working practices are maintained to aid patient well-being and help reduce hospital acquired infection, seeking advice from clinical staff when required.
Responsible for the supervision and wellbeing of Domestic Assistants.
Responsible for ensuring all required paperwork is completed correctly and on time, e.g. flushing records, chlor clean documentation.
Participate in the recruitment and selection process including short listing, interviews, selection and monitoring of probationary periods where needed.
Prioritise own workload taking into account the reactive nature of the job and any unforeseen variation to ward or department routines
Plan and organise deep cleans as required ensuring deadlines are met.
Produce and maintain work plans taking into account the cleaning specification and area risk category.
Coach and develop all new Domestic Assistants on appointment and others when they change roles along with the delivery of topical updates and refresher training as required and ensure training records are up to date.
To attend all training and team meetings as designated by line manager.
Communicate with service users appropriately to receive their views regarding domestic services.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Supervisory experience
Ideally Domestic experience
IT Literate
A proven understanding of customer/ patient service values
Flexible and adaptable
Ability to work irregular hours, when needed
Good organisational, poeple and communication skills
