About The Role
If you have experience of designing, scheduling, delivering and managing large-scale creative programmes and projects with schools this is a rare opportunity to shape the lives of young people in our region. As Hippodrome Education Network Manager we want you to ensure we are recognised as a national benchmark for the engagement and progression of young people by developing the biggest bespoke theatre education programme in the region. This will involve you in designing, managing and delivering Primary and SEN school partnerships, projects and programmes within the Hippodrome Education Network (HEN). Collaborating with colleagues you will develop an accessible, relevant and impactful programme for the young people of our city and region. You will oversee budgets, engage with local networks and inspire your team to achieve targets and meet KPI’s. We will look to you to build and enhance our SEN offer for schools, including provision for young people with additional needs in mainstream education settings. Critical will be the ability to engage and maintain positive relationships with Primary and SEN partner schools, academy trusts and networks in the city region. You will also monitor effectiveness, produce regular reporting and use data to improve future activities and performance.
For this high profile role, you must have experience of designing, scheduling, delivering and managing large-scale creative programmes and projects with schools. Familiar with facilitating in Primary and SEN school environments, you will possess sound knowledge of current trends and challenges in the education sector. You will be used to producing and overseeing successful productions that include young people too. Comfortable developing high performing teams, you will be effective at managing projects, controlling budgets and delivering plans within deadline. You will also have a good understanding of safeguarding best practice and key considerations when working with children and young people. Naturally, you will possess excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills. Importantly, you will be results focussed and used to evaluating success and developing insight to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
