Working hours – Full time (35 hours per week). Standard working hours between 9am – 5pm.



Working arrangements – London, hybrid homeworking (minimum 6 days a month in office).



The Education Directorate at the Royal College of Physicians is looking for an outstanding educator to support us in delivering our expanding portfolio of education and training for healthcare professionals. The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues and clinician volunteers to develop and deliver workshops, postgraduate programmes, and learning resources that meet customer and learner expectations.



 



Key responsibilities include:




  • to teach on a range of RCP education and leadership programmes

  • to support postgraduate learners on a range of CPD and master’s programmes

  • to advise on and assess coursework for learners taking our accredited programmes

  • to work with colleagues and commissioners to design bespoke packages of education to meet the needs of learners

  • to deliver courses virtually and face-to-face in both our London and Liverpool offices, as well as occasional travel to other areas of the UK.



 



About you:




  • an excellent teacher and facilitator of learning

  • experienced in the development of educational programmes and resources to meet the needs of learners, including online and blended approaches

  • passionate about supporting others to develop their education and leadership confidence and skills

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • proactive and problem solving

  • able to form effective working relationships with a diverse range of staff, volunteers and stakeholders
