Basic starting salary: £35,466.00p.a. (plus London weighting allowance if living within the M25) - With additional OTE earning potential as well as salary increments for additional skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at BSH. You would be responsible for the successful management and resolution of customer and product issues thereby maintaining and enhancing the reputation of the company and its brands.

What are we looking for? 

 

As the successful Field Service Engineer, you will ultimately be responsible for representing the company in delivering field-based customer service and product repair, modification and installation within a defined area.   

 

This role will be based in the following areas: E15 & E20 postcodes (Stratford) 

This includes:

  Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs, modifications and installation of BSH products and home appliances with a focus on strong customer service

  Promote correct appliance operation alongside the use of care and maintenance products to provide an extended service experience for our customers

  Build and maintain strong relationships with other stakeholders that you’ll work closely alongside including our call centre and field support departments

  Engage in personal and professional development by; actively participating in required training courses, keeping updated on product ranges through thorough reading of all circulated technical information and assisting in the training of colleagues

  Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others by adhering to Company policies and procedures, promptly and diligently reporting any concerns 

  
  

You will be required to attend an initial 7-week training period based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes, with accommodation provided should you need to travel to the area. 

Who are we looking for? 

 

As the successful Field Service Engineer, you will need to have a basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical engineering, however full training will be provided.  

You will also need to be/have:

  A full and valid manual UK driving licence

  White goods knowledge is preferable but not essential as we will consider transferable skills

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently

  Good IT literacy; you will be required to operate an iPad, smart appliances and internal systems
