Here’s the standard bit: The College is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to support the college Finance Function. The post holder will report to the Payroll and Pensions Officer and take ownership of key aspects of the core transactional and processing functions including Sales and Purchase Ledger, cash handling and aspects of the payroll function. Accuracy is of high importance in this role.



What you’ll need : The successful candidate will also be highly motivated, committed and have excellent attention to detail. Experience in a similar role is essential. Key duties are as follows but not limited to:




  • To maintain the integrity of the Sales ledger system(s).

  • To maintain the integrity of the Purchase ledger system(s).

  • To ensure all income is receipted, reconciled, safely stored and banked.

  • To ensure the records and paperwork are kept in a manner which complies with College and Audit procedures.

  • To support the payroll function

Salary: £18,998 to £21,041 PA pro rata
