We have an exciting opportunity for a Finishing Operative to join our team within Lovell’s East Midlands region within the New Build team.

About the role

You would be required to undertake final finish/cosmetic repair works to new-build housing developments across the Lovell East-Midlands Region operating over approximately ten ‘live’ new-build developments.

The work will primarily involve the undertaking of final finishing and correction of decorative/cosmetic defects found at the various points of inspection on the ‘journey’ to handover. These works are fundamentally small cosmetic/decorative items that fall out of the scope of trade sub-contract packages.

Tools and equipment will be provided.

About you

The successful candidate will be required to undertake training in cosmetic surface repair. These skills will then be deployed across the new-build sites on an as and when required basis. You will ideally have a trade background in decoration/painting and be willing to learn new skills.

The role would suit a tradesperson who is seeking change and a new challenge.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
