Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours
We have an opportunity for an experienced and inspirational senior leader to provide exceptional support and guidance to our Service Managers, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and ability to develop through regular performance reviews where expectations can be set. You’ll create a psychologically safe culture that supports learning, reflection and accountability and will identify individual’s training needs to support their development. You will manage direct reports across several of our services, including:
You’ll act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with CQC, Ofsted and other relevant regulatory frameworks and complete audits, incident reviews, and create plans to ensure continuous improvement. With a good understanding in a similar role, you will lead in the delivery of high-quality drug and alcohol services, actively modelling best practice and engaging directly with clients where appropriate to strengthen delivery and learning. You’ll know the importance of safeguarding, taking the lead to ensure we adhere to legislation and policies, identifying and managing risks, and encouraging a high level of H&S across all services.
With experience in a leadership role within health, social care or comparable statutory or voluntary and community sector organisation, you will be accustomed to leading, developing and supporting managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality, trauma informed services. It is essential that you have a strong knowledge of child and adult safeguarding legislation and practice, with experience of providing senior safeguarding leadership. You will have gained valuable experience of leading services for women, children and families affected by substance use or comparable client groups in related sectors (e.g. mental health, domestic abuse, homelessness or criminal justice) and will demonstrate a good understanding of trauma‑informed, gender‑responsive and child‑centred practice. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will have experience of strategic and operational partnership working within multi‑agency and multi‑disciplinary systems and be able to set direction, manage performance, drive continuous service improvement and change management.
