We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to work in a busy close-knit HR team to ensure best possible outcomes are achieved against organisational aims and policies. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Business Partner will work in assigned business areas to provide day to day guidance, advice, coaching and hands-on support for managers on all aspects of the employee life cycle.
This is a hands-on business partnering role with both strategic and operational business partnering activities. This role will support their designated directorates to deliver on the directorate people plans that have been clearly defined, ensuring successful implementation. Other typical responsibilities include working with recruitment partners to identify resourcing needs and emerging talent, supporting the business with the cyclical people activities (salary & Bonus reviews, talent and succession planning, engagement survey implementation and planning), along with working with the Head of Organisational Development on learning and coaching requirements, employee relations and building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, i.e. Senior Leadership teams. The HR Business Partners are supported by an HR Co-ordinator but there is an element of administration in the role.
Our ideal applicant will be CIPD qualified, with comprehensive generalist HR experience (including employee relations experience) from the financial services industry. Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of current employment law (and best practice) as well as a logical, rational and flexible approach to situations, enabling optimal solutions to be achieved. If you have experience in producing monthly and/or quarterly MI Reporting, this would be seen as beneficial but not essential.
