Job Role: IT Support Engineer    



Salary: £25,000 per annum



Hours: 37.5 hours per week            



Contract type: Permanent



Location: Bath

  • Please note this role will primarily be based in our office in Bath



The Role 



The successful IT Support Engineer will be joining our small team in Bath. You'll be providing in-house IT support to all Julian House staff, as well as setting up and configuring new equipment, such as laptops and mobile phones. You'll also be involved with assisting the team with projects such as rollout of upgrades, changes and improvements.



 



Responsibilities include:




  • Setup and configure laptops and Android mobile phones

  • Work alongside the Junior IT Engineer, responding to and resolving incident tickets raised through our helpdesk portal 

  • Creation and removal of users within our Office 365 environment

  • Performing inductions for new starters, involving how to use our systems and best working practices

  • Assist senior IT staff with the rollout of projects, systems and software, this may include an element of off-site work

  • Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive; the post holder may be required to undertake 



Qualifications / Requirements:




  • Ability to communicate with people of all levels and technical abilities 

  • Experience working with Microsoft office, Windows and SharePoint Online / OneDrive

  • Experience setting up laptops and mobile phones
