Lecturer in Electrical Installation



Location: Wallsend

Due to growing student numbers, we’re expanding our team. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Installation professional to join us in delivering high‑quality teaching, training and assessment across Levels 1–2. 



 



Whether you already have experience in lecturing or are looking for a career change or new challenge, we can support you to transition into teaching. Prior teaching experience is not essential. 



 



About the Role 



 



You will: 



 




  • Teach and assess learners in Electrical Installation (practical and theory) 




  • Deliver units such as AC theory, single/three‑phase systems, and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 




  • Create engaging lesson plans, schemes of work and learning materials 




  • Support learners to ensure retention, progression and achievement 




  • Provide tutorial support and guidance on academic, personal and welfare matters 




  • Work collaboratively within course teams and contribute to curriculum development 




  • Participate in exams, marking, employer engagement and parent liaison 



 



What You’ll Need 



 




  • Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of Electrical Installation (up to Level 3) 




  • Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting learners 




  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills 




  • Ability to work effectively, safely and professionally in workshop and classroom environments.
