Salary: £27,158.91 - £35,246.75

Spine points 25 – 33 



£33,496 - £43,471 pro rata per annum 



£27,158 - £35,246 actual salary per annum 



701 teaching hours per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health and Social Care, with a healthcare specialism, to join our dedicated and supportive team. As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learners to reach their full potential, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our Health and Social Care provision. What We're Looking For: 



Qualifications 




  • A relevant Health and Social Care or healthcare qualification at Level 4 or above. 




  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent). 




  • A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one. 




  • Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving them. 



 



Experience 




  • Recent vocational or sector experience within a healthcare setting. 




  • Experience working in a healthcare or clinical role. 




  • Experience of teaching, training, coaching or supporting learners in an educational or professional environment. 




  • Evidence of continued professional development and maintaining current industry knowledge. 



 



Skills and Attributes 




  • Excellent subject knowledge within Health and Social Care. 




  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 




  • Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills. 




  • A flexible, positive and collaborative approach to work. 




  • A genuine commitment to supporting learners and promoting their success. 




  • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
