We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health and Social Care, with a healthcare specialism, to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire, motivate and develop the next generation of healthcare professionals, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in their careers. 

As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learners to reach their full potential, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our Health and Social Care provision. You'll join a college that is committed to creating positive opportunities for learners and making a real difference within our communities.  

What We're Looking For: 

Qualifications 

• A relevant Health and Social Care or healthcare qualification at Level 4 or above. 

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent). 

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one. 

• Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving them. 

Experience 

• Recent vocational or sector experience within a healthcare setting. 

• Experience working in a healthcare or clinical role. 

• Experience of teaching, training, coaching or supporting learners in an educational or professional environment. 

• Evidence of continued professional development and maintaining current industry knowledge. 

Skills and Attributes 

• Excellent subject knowledge within Health and Social Care. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills. 

• A flexible, positive and collaborative approach to work. 

• A genuine commitment to supporting learners and promoting their success. 

• An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
