What you’ll be doing:

The role of a multi trade operative will be to carry out a full range of customer focused high quality repairs, maintenance and improvement works to Greatwell Homes’ tenanted and void properties.

• Undertake a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties, using multiple trades and skills, ensuring work is completed to a high standard. This may include but is not limited to; carpentry, plumbing works, plastering, wall tiling, general repairs, mould treatment etc. plus any tasks that may match your skillset.


• Carry out mould treatment and remedial works to a high standard in line with the requirements of Awaab’s Law


• Provide and promote high quality customer care to all Greatwell Homes customers, ensuring key communication with customers is carried out to keep them up to date on work progress.


• All undertakings of works will be in line with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures.

About you:

• Experience of working within a multi-trade / multi-skill role.


• Experience of working in occupied domestic properties and dealing with customers including vulnerable people.


• Proven track record of complying with safe systems of work in areas accessible to the general public and the use of personal protective equipment.


• Ability to use hand held personal digital assistant (PDA) technology efficiently.


• Your physical fitness and strength should be such that you can lift awkward and heavy items [subject to any reasonable adjustments].


• Strong knowledge of the use of appropriate trade tools and safe methods of use.


• Full clean UK driving licence.
