Up to £52,960 including Car Allowance

We have an excellent opportunity to join our team to ensure the compliant, efficient, safe, and cost-effective day to day operation of the Axil Total Waste Management contracts.    

The role: 

This is a key position for us in which you will manage the day-to-day operations of the on-site Waste Teams at various customers sites. 

As the Operations Manager, you will ensure that health & safety policies & procedures are adhered to, waste storage areas are kept in order and the inventory is minimised as far as is reasonably practicable.   You’ll also deliver improvements in processes to help deliver cost reduction.    

You will be responsible for the management of Site Managers, Supervisors and Operatives and will motivate, train and develop your team as well as deliver regular team briefings. You'll ensure that all work is scheduled efficiently with the best use of both labour and equipment by managing the onsite teams effectively    

This role requires regular travel, and nights out may be required.

The following qualifications would be desirable:

  IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH

Our package

  £42,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE 

  
  


• 
  

  Car allowance of £7,960 per annum 

  
  


• 
  

  Mileage claims at 0.45 pence per mile for first 10,000 miles then 0.25 pence thereafter 

  
  


• 
  

  Discretionary annual bonus of up to 10% of salary 

  
  


• 
  

  40 hours per week Monday to Friday but flexibility required
