In our Portfolio Manager role, you’ll be playing a pivotal role in managing property performance, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance the value and impact of the housing portfolio.
Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Rushden, Peterborough, Boston or Milton Keynes office
Salary: Up to £57,700 per year
Contract: Permanent
Your week: 36.25 hours p/week (9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday, with 1-hour lunch)
Snapshot of your role
This is what your day will look like as our Portfolio Manager:
Lead and support the strategic planning, development, and management of Amplius’ property portfolio to maximise asset value and performance.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Asset Optimisation team, leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
Contribute to the development and implementation of an Asset Optimisation strategy.
Monitor and analyse the performance of a diverse portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and value.
Work closely with local authorities, housing associations, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and strategic alignment of Amplius’ portfolio.
Your toolkit for success
To thrive in our Portfolio Manager role, you’ll need:
Extensive experience in property or portfolio management, preferably within the social housing sector.
To be qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIH, RICS, CIOB).
Proven leadership experience in asset management.
A demonstrable track record of successfully managing complex asset portfolios, showcasing effective decision-making and strong commercial expertise.
Experience developing and optimising asset strategies and asset plans.
A strong understanding of property and asset management principles, financial analysis, risk management, and market influences.
Please note that having a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role to visit our customers.
