Permanent, Part Time (up to 25 hours per week)
Stockdales is a charity based in Sale, just south of Manchester City Centre, with a wealth of experience in making a difference to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Recruitment Coordinator – someone to provide recruitment support to the team by attracting, interviewing and processing new candidates to work across the service.
So, if you have exceptional communication and organisational skills, experience working in a recruitment role and share our passion for recruiting the top talent, then we would love to hear from you!
About the role
As our Recruitment Coordinator, you can look forward to a varied role where no two days are the same!
In this role, you will support the organisation’s recruitment and onboarding processes, including completing pre-interview questionnaires and assisting with or conducting interviews across our care homes and services. You will use our Applicant Tracking System (IRIS) on a daily basis to manage candidate applications and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
You will represent the organisation at job fairs and recruitment events, help promote opportunities, and design recruitment adverts for social media using Canva. The role also involves identifying effective advertising channels, helping to build relationships with recruitment agencies, and supporting the development of new candidate sources. You may also assist with delivering presentations about Stockdales and recruitment opportunities.
Alongside recruitment responsibilities, you will provide general administrative support, including answering calls and responding to queries from professionals, staff and external contacts. You will assist with preparing induction packs, maintaining department records and databases, organising meetings and appointments, and producing reports and documents using Microsoft Office.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced recruitment and onboarding professional who is confident conducting interviews and has experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). With strong interpersonal and administrative skills, you will be highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise a demanding workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be IT proficient, with experience using a range of computer software including Microsoft Office, databases, email, and internet-based programmes. Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups is also desirable. You will be reliable, proactive, and motivated to improve processes, with the ability to provide practical solutions in a calm and methodical manner.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
