£27,825 per annum

Full Time (37 hours per week)  



 



Are you an experienced works scheduler with a background of dynamic scheduling systems and a passion for delivering excellent customer service?

Repairs and maintenance services affect our customers personally, impacting their quality of life and satisfaction with their homes. To provide the very best services possible, we are bringing our repairs and maintenance service in-house.  



Our scheduler will need to be a confident ‘people person’ capable of working with our tradespeople and sub-contractors alike. You’ll schedule the correct colleague for the job and plan their workloads efficiently & effectively. Working to maximise first time fix rates, minimising travel between jobs and impact on customers lives will be key outputs of this role.  



This role is hybrid, working from our head office in Bedford and from home.  



In the first instance you will be office-based until fully trained in the position, you will then be able to adopt a hybrid working practice. The logistics of this are to be agreed with the Scheduling Team Leader to suit the needs of the business.  



There is a requirement to work a late shift from home, 12pm – 8pm. Also one week in every 4 there is a requirement to work half a day on a weekday and half a day on a Saturday. We can be flexible with this.  



 



We’d love to meet someone with:  





  • Experience of logistical planning or other comparable scheduling service  




  • An organised approach to work, with a positive attitude and great time management  




  • A strong, demonstrable commitment to excellence in customer service through empathetic and considerate approaches to jobs  




  • Housing repairs and maintenance knowledge beneficial, but not essential  




  • Good communication and IT skills

This is a hybrid role meaning you can work partly from home and partly from our bright modern office in Bedford. Hybrid working will be allowed after the induction process.
