Are you an experienced roofer looking for a rewarding opportunity? We have a Roofer /Multi-Trades position available, a vital role dedicated to maintaining safe and secure roofing for our tenants.
About the Role
Respond to urgent and non-urgent roofing repair requests
Assess and repair roof damage while ensuring long-term structural integrity
Carry out additional multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, joinery, plastering, tiling, painting and groundworks
Work as part of a team and independently to identify customer needs.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Participate in our rota for 24/7 service coverage.
What We're Looking For*
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in roofing (e.g., City & Guilds) or demonstrable experience
Skills & Experience: Proven expertise in responsive roofing repair and multi-trade works. Knowledge of diverse roofing materials, techniques, and health/safety standards.
Customer Focus: Success in delivering a variable workload in a target-driven environment, ideally with social housing experience.
Personal Attributes: Problem-solving abilities, initiative, excellent communication, and team spirit.
