Cornwall Insight is an award-winning international energy consultancy, and we are seeking a Senior Energy Analyst to join our Marketing Intelligence team in Norwich.



As a Senior Analyst you will work within our Low Carbon Generation team and be responsible for the delivery and review of regular subscription reports covering regulatory developments that will impact our customers. This will include developing new and existing services to meet the customer need in the context of a changing market, as well as making improvements to enhance coverage, and digitalisation of products.



You will have a keen interest in the energy market, and ideally two years’ relevant experience. You will have a good understanding of the regulatory code modification process and have experience of working with key stakeholders and policy makers across a range of topics and issues. A Senior Analyst is able to draw links between different market trends and can identify the impacts of market developments on different industry parties.

Key Responsibilities




  • Responsible for authoring and reviewing high quality and punctual content for a suite of publications

  • Responsible for gathering information, and identifying key trends or relevant impacts to customers

  • Has expert knowledge of regulation and wider energy industry, disseminating this through research, regular reporting, webinars, and knowledge sharing meetings to keep the content fresh and up-to-date

  • Effectively communicate the key outputs of the research to the team and customers, focusing the information to the audience

  • Take a proactive role in the team, contributing ideas and leanings to the business and customers

  • Explore new commercial opportunities through customer contacts and networking

  • Deliver training and update materials
