We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the IRIS Elements Platform, the cloud foundation that powers our suite of accountancy products used by thousands of firms across the UK.

About the Opportunity

As the Senior Manager for the IRIS Elements Platform, you will define how our platform evolves to meet the needs of accountants, partners, developers, and internal teams. Your remit includes core platform capabilities such as Administration, APIs, Integrations, Developer Portals, Reporting, and Onboarding.

You’ll be instrumental in shaping platform innovation, enabling Product-Led Growth, and helping IRIS stay ahead through smart, responsible adoption of AI.

This is a high-impact role with significant visibility across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Define and own a long-term platform strategy and roadmap.


• Lead the development of administration experiences for both customers and internal teams.


• Drive the strategy for APIs and third-party integrations, helping expand the IRIS ecosystem.


• Deliver new platform capabilities that support commercial growth and customer adoption.


• Partner with engineering to ensure platform scalability, security, compliance, and reliability.


• Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and professional services on go-to-market plans.


• Regularly engage with customers, user groups, and industry stakeholders to inform prioritisation.


• Maintain high-quality documentation and communication around releases and platform updates.


• Track competitive trends to help IRIS maintain its leading position in the accountancy software market.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Product Management within SaaS or platform-led environments.


• Strong knowledge of API design, integration technologies, and developer-centric products.


• Prior experience delivering admin or operational portal experiences (internal and external).


• Solid understanding of cloud security, authentication (OAuth/SSO), compliance, and data access control.


• A track record of leading cross-functional teams and shaping technology direction.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.


• A passion for customer-centric design, PLG, and ongoing innovation (including AI).
