Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days: 6am–6pm, 2 nights: 6pm–6am)

The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at our Louth site. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum machinery uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
· Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
· Supporting machine availability and operational performance
· Conducting routine testing, calibration, and fault finding
· Maintaining accurate engineering records and ensuring audit readiness
· Promoting and adhering to Health & Safety standards
· Contributing to continuous improvement projects and initiatives
About you:
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have:
· An electrical bias with strong mechanical knowledge
· Experience with PLC systems and drives
· A methodical, root cause approach to fault finding
· Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work as part of a team
· Excellent organisational and time management abilities
· The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
· Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within manufacturing
· Computer literacy (experience with CMMS systems is advantageous)
