£45,000 - £55,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits 



Essex  



Permanent, Full Time 



40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch 



 



We are looking to recruit experience and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic, successful and growing team in Basildon, Essex. 



 



About the Role 



 



Joining us as a Site Manager, you'll lead delivery teams, assessing resource requirements and supporting the management of day-to-day site activities. You'll ensure that all project objectives are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. 



 



Working within our Planned Works and Retrofit team, you will oversee the delivery of decarbonisation and energy efficiency programmes across occupied social housing properties. This will include managing the installation of retrofit measures such as external wall insulation, loft insulation, window and door replacements, ventilation improvements, draught-proofing measures and low-carbon heating and energy systems, ensuring works are delivered in line with PAS2030/2035, TrustMark and relevant funding requirements. 



 



You will be responsible for ensuring projects remain fully compliant with all relevant legislation, Building Regulations, health and safety requirements and funding standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, residents, subcontractors and stakeholders. You will undertake regular site inspections to monitor health and safety, workmanship, programme performance and productivity, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout project delivery.  



 



You'll also support the commercial performance of projects, identifying variations, managing operational delivery against agreed budgets and collaborating closely with commercial and technical teams to achieve successful project outcomes. 



 



About You 



 



Candidates will have proven experience in a Site Manager role, ideally gained within planned maintenance, social housing, refurbishment, retrofit or sustainability-led projects. You will have a strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations and health and safety requirements, together with experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.  



 



You will have experience delivering decarbonisation, retrofit or energy efficiency projects and a good understanding of measures such as insulation, ventilation improvements, window and door replacement programmes and low-carbon heating systems. Knowledge of PAS2030/2035, ECO-funded works and other retrofit compliance requirements would be highly advantageous.  



 



You will be commercially aware, able to interpret drawings and specifications, identify contract variations and maintain excellent relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders. A Retrofit Assessor or Retrofit Coordinator qualification, PASHUB awareness and previous experience of delivering sustainability programmes would be beneficial. 



 



You will hold: 



 




  • NVQ Level 6 Construction Management (or equivalent) 




  • Black CSCS Card (or working towards) 




  • SMSTS 




  • First Aid at Work 




  • Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months 



 



Desirable: 



 




  • A Retrofit Coordinator or Retrofit assessor qualification 




  • PASHUB Awareness 




  • Previous experience of delivering retrofit/sustainability work programmes 




  • Experience in project management and/or technical management of M&E systems/heat networks
