Social Media and Digital Content Specialist
Nottingham
£30,007 - £33,770 per annum
Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive Communications and Engagement team as Social Media and Digital Content Specialist.
Our Communications and Engagement team are the people who tell the world about NCHA and the work it does to provide people with a safe, comfortable home, alongside the care they need to live better lives. We communicate with customers, colleagues and stakeholders. We create and publish magazines and email newsletters, manage websites and our intranet, protect the NCHA brand and logo, organise events and conferences, and much more.
What does this role involve?
Our new Social Media and Digital Content Specialist will carry on the work we’ve already done to establish NCHA on social media and other digital platforms. We want someone who will continue to evolve and shape our success, staying up to date with emerging trends both in the world of digital communications and in the housing and care sector. As well as managing a busy social media schedule, you’ll be creating customer-focused content – so you’ll need to be someone who can write clearly and precisely for the needs of digital channels. We’re serious about our commitment to equality and inclusion, and we’ll expect you to be producing content that is accessible to audiences with differing needs, as well as representative of the communities we serve. You’ll be confident at using content management systems, social media schedulers, and other software to deliver everything our customers need. We’re a busy team, and you’ll be supporting colleagues on multi-platform campaigns, creating video content, advising on social media approaches, and ensuring that our tone of voice is used consistently.
The ideal candidate
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the message across. We want a clear communicator who is enthusiastic about making sure we reach the right people, with the right information, at the right time. You’ll be a stickler for detail – but also someone who can see the bigger picture. We’re open to fresh ideas and will support you to develop your skills.
This is a full-time post of 35 hours a week. NCHA’s head office is moving to Clifton in autumn 2024 – but you’ll initially be based at our offices in Sherwood Rise. We offer flexible working, so once you’re settled in you’ll be able to work both from home and from our offices.
Looking forward to receiving your application!
Please note that we are not currently offering visa sponsorship.
As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, NCHA welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates.
