We have an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Manager to join the Commercial team at Nuclear Waste Services.
As a Sourcing Manager you will play a key role in the delivery of £multi-million procurement projects across the organisation, with a primary focus on the Corporate Services area including the Technical, HR, Transformation, Legal, EHHSQ , Finance , Commercial and Communications directorates, providing professional advice on all aspects of commercial and procurement activities to ensure adherence and compliance with NWS policies , the law and relevant legislation.
You will report into the Senior Sourcing Lead who will maintain line management responsibility including objective setting and personal development and you will be required to deputise as necessary. The role will have line management responsibility for a small team and you will have financial and contractual delegations in accordance with the schedule of delegated authority.
As the Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for implementing robust sourcing strategies and contract award recommendations which will provide workable and effective contract vehicles and deliver the requirements of the business, ensuring that they gain approval through the relevant NWS, NDA and external sanctioning bodies.
You and your team will prepare tender documentation such as ITTs and RFQs for a variety of procurements, including above threshold, below threshold and mini-competition exercises and you will lead tender evaluation exercises, maintaining records to the high standards required to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.
