Tenancy Enforcement Officer
Our Greenwich plan sets out our vision for our Borough, and we're determined and passionate about making that vision a reality for our residents.
We want our neighbourhoods to be vibrant, safe and attractive with community services that meet the needs of our residents. To help make this happen, our Tenancy Services provide a comprehensive, high quality, customer focused range of front-line services to our residents.
About the Role
As a Tenancy Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tenancy and neighbourhood issues in respect of a designated group of dwellings. You will ensure the proper and appropriate use of accommodation and ensure that residents receive an efficient and effective service in respect of tenancy and related issues.
Specifically, you will provide a pro-active approach to dealing with all forms of nuisance and anti-social behaviour and will be responsible for taking robust enforcement action against breaches of tenancy conditions.
The job involves lone-working, home visits, block visits and outdoor work. You should be organised and able to prioritise and manage your own workload. The role operates on a hybrid basis, working flexibly, with most of your time spent working in the community and some time spent working in the office or working from home.
To fulfil the role, you'll have excellent customer service skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure in challenging circumstances.
About us
In return, we offer a supportive environment and great staff benefits including generous leave entitlement, Local Government Pension Scheme, a wide range of staff networks and continuous development opportunities to maximise your potential.
How to Apply
If you enjoy working with people, have the skills for this varied and challenging role, and want to make a real difference to the lives of our residents, we'd love to hear from you.
We are currently recruiting to a number of opportunities - we have a permanent job share opportunity (working Weds pm, Thurs, Fri) and various Fixed Term Contracts available.
