Join Amplius as a Tenancy Enforcement Officer and take the lead in tackling tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour across our communities. You'll provide a responsive, hands-on service while delivering great customer care in every neighbourhood you support.
Location: Milton Keynes - 1 day in office minimum.
Salary: £35,855 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5pm)
Snapshot of your role
Manage and resolve cases of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, including abandonment, damage, and fraud.
Assess risk, gather evidence, take witness statements, and prepare cases for legal action.
Maintain accurate case records and monitor progress using internal systems.
Communicate regularly with customers, offering advice, support, and referrals where appropriate.
Issue warnings and take timely, proportionate enforcement action in line with policy.
Represent Amplius in court proceedings and follow cases through to resolution.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and multi-agency teams to resolve issues.
Attend and contribute to meetings, ensuring appropriate information sharing and action planning.
Support customer safety, satisfaction, and confidence in our neighbourhoods.
Report to and work under the guidance of the Team Leader.
Your toolkit for success
Experience resolving anti-social behaviour or tenancy breaches.
Confidence working with customers in crisis, showing calm, respectful professionalism.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues, teams, and external agencies.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Well-organised, able to manage a varied caseload and coordinate resources effectively.
Accurate and thorough record-keeping abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
High emotional intelligence with a sensitive, appropriate approach to challenging situations.
Outcome-focused with a commitment to achieving positive results.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
