Business Development Manager – B2B Field Sales
Hybrid working, with several days expected in field, Watford Office or London
Competitive base salary with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £80,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed-term contract, initially for a period of 3 months
There is potential for this role to be extended beyond the initial term or converted into a permanent position (subject to business needs, mutual agreement and satisfactory performance during the initial contract period).
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives responsible for making B2B sales in the field, on behalf of our leading technology client. As an experienced sales professional, you will be on hand to share your wealth of knowledge and skills and provide mentorship and coaching to the team, encouraging their individual growth and ensuring they continue to meet and exceed their targets. You’ll oversee the preparation and presentation of proposals to potential clients and conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities. As a confident communicator, you will maintain strong relationships with the client, gathering feedback to help improve services and products.
You’ll thrive in a target driven environment and will have experience developing and executing business development strategies with strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and sales data. You’ll have experience of managing a sales team or providing support to Executives to achieve KPIs and monitoring and evaluating the team performance. Ambitious and articulate, you will be accustomed to presenting proposals to clients and adapt to market changes or requirements. We’re looking for a tenacious individual who can build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
