Gas Engineer 



£35,690.20 per annum plus £200 annual tool allowance 



Out of Hours annual payment: £8,048.21 



Bromsgrove, Worcestershire 



Permanent 



Full Time - 37 hours per week

We now have an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join our team to assist in the delivery of a high-quality gas servicing and heating breakdown service to bdht properties or contracts managed by bdht.  



   



The role  



 



As our Gas Engineer you will undertake services of gas appliances, carry out gas safety checks and produce electronic gas safety documentation, all to an excellent standard to exceed customer expectations. You will carry out repairs achieving a high volume of first-time fixes ensuring our customers are effectively communicated with. 



 



You will complete repairs outside of normal working hours, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.  



   



It is essential that you carry out all duties in line with Gas Safe and Health & Safety Regulations whilst adhering to the Safe Systems of Work specified in bdht’s safety policy.  



   



About you  



  



With experience in a similar role and a knowledge of health and safety, you will hold a City and Guilds Gas Service Engineer qualification or equivalent with current ACS Certificates.  



   



You will also need to hold the following current elements in ACS:   



  



Cooker - CKR1  



Fire - HTR1  



Gas Boiler - CEN1  



Pipework - CCN1  



Water Heater - WAT1   



Flue Gas Analyser - CPA1  



   



It is essential that you have a full driving licence (vehicle will be provided) and be prepared to work at various locations within the Bromsgrove and surrounding district.
