Vacancy: Site Manager Graduate

Region: Greater London area

Contract: Full time, two-year fixed contract with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme subject to appropriate progression on the Graduate scheme.

Lovell is the UK’s leading provider of mixed tenure affordable homes, and we are experiencing substantial growth. We are on the lookout for ambitious, high calibre graduates to join our two-year rotational programme, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in Site Management, offering a competitive salary, extensive development opportunities and a chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience.

The Role

Over the two years, you will primarily work within our Operations department, gaining hands on experience in site management whilst learning how to deliver successful projects. To broaden your understanding of the industry and how site management integrates into the wider business, you will also complete placements in Commercial, Technical and Business Development. Please note that this is a full-time site-based role.

In addition, you will attend graduate programme days at our head office in Tamworth where you will connect with other graduates from around the business, expand your knowledge and develop key professional skills. You will complete the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills as an introduction to the world of management in your second year and we will support your progress towards full CIOB professional membership.

Skills and Experience

Candidates will have graduated in 2024 or be graduating in 2025 and have gained or predicted to gain at least a 2.1 in a construction related degree such as Construction Management. A CIOB approved course would be an advantage.

Successful candidates will have achieved high academic standards as well as being able to demonstrate interest and commitment for a career in the construction industry. We will be looking for evidence of:

  • Enthusiasm for the industry and role

  • Strong leadership potential

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Dedication to excellence in everything that you do

Desirable attributes:

  • Knowledge or a genuine interest in the affordable housing sector

  • Experience in an office, site, or construction environment

We value diversity in our workforce and welcome applications from all individuals with the right to work in the UK.
